Jeep Classic Jogger

Over the past year my family and I have really gotten into health and fitness. As a stay at home mom it’s really important to me to be able to include my children in most, if not all, of my daily activities, including exercise. I’ve tried many activities at home but I was looking for a way to change it up and implement a more active lifestyle for myself and my children outside of the home. We have never owned a jogging stroller so I was so excited to get my hands on this Jeep Classic Jogger by Delta Children (link) and hit the outdoors with my children.

First Look out of the Box

Mom unboxing stroller

Right out of the box I noticed that the stroller had a beautiful and sporty design. It was easy to use and assemble. I simply popped on the wheels and snack tray and it was ready to go.

Features

Mom with Jeep Classic Jogger

The Jeep Classic Jogger design is sporty, and sleek.

This stroller offers so many awesome features that we just loved!

Features of the Jeep Classic Jogger include:

Design Features

  • an easy to grip ergonomic handle. (The handle felt super soft on my hands.)
  • an extendable European Canopy with a UPF 50+ sun visor. (I love that this will not only keep the sun out of Alice’s eyes but that it will also protect her from the sun’s harmful rays.)
  • visible shock absorbers for tough terrain. (These must have played a huge part in the smooth ride of the stroller. Alice remained comfortable and happy the entire time.)
  • snack tray which swings away and is easily removable (Alice loves her snacks so this was perfect for her.)
  • two parent cup holders which are removable (perfect for a mom like me who loves to carry a coffee and a water, but this could hold drinks for multiple people as well.)
  • 12 inch front swivel wheel. (I loved that this wheel can be locked and unlocked from the swivel position with the flick of a button.)
  • multi-posisiton reclining seat. (I loved how easily I was able to change the position of the seat. This can easily be done with a sleeping baby in tow.)
  • extra large storage basket. (I usually have one or two bags with me and this stroller can hold our bags easily.)
  • large 16 inch quick release back wheels with easy step breaks. (These can simply be removed for easy storage.)
  • air tires with ball bearings for a smooth ride. (Again, the ride was extremely smooth and Alice loved it!)
  • steel tubing and lightweight design with compact fold. (This was one of my most favorite features! The first thing I look at when shopping for a stroller is how easily I will be able to fold it. This stroller is so lightweight and folded easily with the pull of the latches. It folded up very compact and I was able to easily lift the jogger in and out of my car.)

Safety Features

  • a five point safety harness with soft shoulder pads. (As the mom of a child who hates being restrained in five point harnesses I was pleasantly surprised that Alice LOVED sitting in this stroller. The five point harness was completely comfortable for her.)
  • reflective pining. (This is essential for safety when walking in the dark.)
  • parent strap so the stroller can be kept safely by your side. (This was reassuring for a first time jogging stroller user.)

Infant Seat Connections

  • The Jeep Classic Jogger fits with many different infant carseats such as: Graco Snugride Click Connect 30, 35, and 40, Evenflo Embrace Select, Evenflo Nurture, Britax B-Safe 35. The first 3 attach to the child tray. The Britax B-Safe-35 requires the Britax adapter which is sold separately. (We are out of this stage but this would be a huge benefit if we were still in the infant carseat stage.)

The Test Drive

Mom and kids in the park with our Jeep Classic Jogger

Jogging along as a family! I loved getting the kids outdoors and into the fresh air.

I could hardly wait to take our new Jeep Classic Jogger out on the town, and in our case straight to the park.

One thing that I always check when looking at new strollers is how easily it can be folded. It’s so important to me to be able to fold quickly without struggling. I loved how easily the Jeep Classic Jogger folded. I pulled the gray latch on each side below the handle bar, lifted up, and was able to fold the stroller quickly and easily. Unfolding the stroller when we  arrived at the park went just as smoothly as folding it had. The lightness of the stroller made the process of lifting the jogger in and out of my minivan a breeze. There was no struggling for this mama and I was so happy!

The next thing I wanted to test with the Jeep Classic Jogger was how it felt while jogging with it. To start, the stroller was so light and easy to push with a soft, cushiony handle. I tested the stroller on flat pavement, grass, and bumps. The stroller ride remained smooth and easy the entire time. Even Alice who typically does not last very long in strollers absolutely loved riding in the Jeep Classic Jogger.

Other Features We Love

The parent strap helped to ensure the stroller never got away from me while jogging. I also love that I can choose whether or not to swivel the front wheel with and easy switch of a latch. I also loved the dual Cup Holders that held both of my drinks.

Finally, My Overall Opinion

Overall, I love the Jeep Classic Jogger. I love the lightweight design, the smooth ride, how fast and easily I am able to fold the jogger, and how compact the stroller folds up. Most of all I am loving that this particular piece of baby gear has given us more freedom to get outside and explore our world, have new adventures, and create lasting memories.

A special thank you to Delta Children for this awesome jogging stroller. We love it!
