This simple box of goodies that we place out on Christmas Eve has turned into one of my favorite Holiday traditions. It doesn’t contain much and certainly does not contain anything fancy however what our Christmas Eve Box does contain is a tradition that we look forward to every year.

I like to think of our Christmas Eve Box more like a Christmas Eve “Experience” Box because the things that go into it are all things that we use for Christmas Eve to create a little extra magic and spend time together as a family.

The Box

This year we ordered the sweetest new Christmas Eve Box from an Etsy shop, DustandThings.  I could not be happier with our purchase. The shipping was so fast even all the way from the UK.  The box is great quality and I look forward to using this year after year!

The North Star guiding the way.

It’s carved with our last name and we were able to choose between different symbols for the center of the box. We ultimately decided on the North Star.  For an extra fee we were even able to add a special message on the inside.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

What’s Inside

Inside our box we place a new movie, popcorn, hot chocolate, Christmas pajamas and slippers. This sets us up for the coziest Christmas Eve!

This year we chose Despicable Me 3 as our movie and purchased our Pajamas from Target. We used some of our slippers from last years pjs and bought a new pair for Will since his pair no longer fit.

All ready to be packed up for Christmas Eve!

Packed up and ready to go!

The Set Up

We always place our Christmas Eve Box by our homemade felt tree. This year our we also added our Packages From Santa (another tradition we have), homemade Reindeer Food, and Grinch Dust!

Does your family make a Christmas Eve box? If so, leave me a comment and let me know what you put in yours!
